About us
EhudAI is an AI creative studio for filmmakers, marketers and creators. People use it to generate images, video and whole cinematic sequences with tools like Auteur and AI Studio. We're a small team, and what you build reaches real users quickly.
The internship
This is a paid, 3-month, full-time, on-site internship in Addis Ababa. You'll work on the product people use every day: our creative tools, dashboards and websites. Experienced engineers will mentor you, review your code and give you real features to own. You won't be making coffee or doing throwaway tasks.
Interns who do strong work will be offered a full-time Junior Frontend Engineer role at the end of the internship.
What you'll do
- Build and improve user interfaces across our product and websites
- Polish existing pages: loading and error states, responsiveness and bug fixes
- Connect user interfaces to our APIs and test what you ship
- Take part in code reviews and learn how production software is built and released
You'll likely have
- A computer science or related degree (recent graduates and final-year students are welcome), or strong self-taught projects we can look at
- Solid React and JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
- Some experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, or eagerness to pick them up fast
- Attention to detail in UI: spacing, states and edge cases
- Basic Git
- Curious, quick to learn, and happy to ask questions early
Nice to have
- A portfolio, GitHub profile or live projects you've built
- Interest in film, design or generative AI
What you get
- A paid monthly stipend
- Hands-on mentorship from experienced engineers
- Work that ships to real users, from your first weeks
- A clear path to a full-time role
